Management Accountant

Change Accountancy and Finance are partnering with a brilliant organisation based in Edinburgh for the recruitment of a newly created Management Accountant to join their team. This role offers great benefits including study support, hybrid working and progression opportunities.

This role is best suited to a part-qualified (ACCA, CA, CIMA) individual who is looking to complete their professional qualification or QBE accountant, with experience in management accounts and has strong analytical and interpersonal skills.

Key responsibilities will include:

• Preparation of monthly management accounts for key business sectors
• Ensure completion of all month-end tasks as per the agreed schedule and meet relevant deadlines
• Collaborate with operational colleagues as a business partner
• Maintain control over balance sheet accounts
• Provide support for ad-hoc / project work as required by the Head of Financial Reporting

Requirements for the role:

• Previous experience in a similar finance role essential
• Ideally pursuing a professional accountancy qualification (support will be provided)
• Strong IT skills 
• Experience in a high-volume transaction environment
• Strong interpersonal skills

Salary banding between £32'000 and £39'000, DOE plus fantastic benefits and hybrid/flexible working week.
