As the team continue to grow, we are looking to recruit a highly experienced Audit Partner to join the team in either Glasgow or Edinburgh.
As an Audit Partner, you will play a pivotal role in driving the strategy and growth of the audit practice, leading a team of talented professionals, and overseeing the delivery of audit and assurance services to clients. You will be responsible for developing strong relationships with clients, managing a diverse portfolio, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards, and providing expert advice to senior management and boards. Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage a portfolio of audit clients, ensuring the delivery of high-quality audit services in line with professional and regulatory standards.
- Take the lead on business development, working with partners and senior managers to identify new opportunities and drive revenue growth.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, acting as their trusted advisor.
- Lead, manage, and develop a team of audit professionals, providing coaching, mentoring, and support to enhance their skills and performance.
- Oversee and manage the planning, execution, and completion of audits, ensuring they are delivered on time and within budget.
- Review financial statements and ensure compliance with accounting and auditing standards.
- Ensure adherence to internal and external quality controls and risk management procedures.
- Represent the firm in industry forums and at key client meetings.
- Collaborate with other partners and departments to provide a full suite of services to clients.
Key Requirements:
- ACA/ACCA qualified (or equivalent) with significant experience in audit and assurance.
- Proven track record of managing audits for a diverse client base, ideally with experience in both large and medium-sized entities.
- Strong leadership and management skills, with experience of leading audit teams and developing talent.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to build and maintain relationships with clients, stakeholders, and senior management.
- Experience in business development and driving growth in an audit practice.
- In-depth knowledge of UK GAAP, IFRS, and audit regulations.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and work under pressure to meet deadlines.
- Strategic thinking with a passion for delivering outstanding client service and leading a successful audit practice.
