Internal Audit, Models - Permanent - Edinburgh or Bristol

Are you seeking an exciting role in the financial services industry as a Model Auditor? We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced professional to join an established and growing team in either Edinburgh or Bristol.

The successful applicant will be responsible for testing of key controls for assigned audits, including substantive testing and quantitative analysis, to evaluate their operational effectiveness.

We are looking for someone with the following qualifications and experience:

• A degree in finance, economics, mathematics, or a related discipline
• Relevant professional qualifications such as CFA, FRM, or ACCA
• At least 3 years’ experience in a model risk management role, preferably within a banking organisation
• Knowledge and experience of credit risk models, VaR, IFRS9 and IRB
• An understanding of model risk management frameworks and techniques
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
• Strong analytical skills and the ability to interpret and analyse complex data
• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to think both strategically and innovatively
