We're working with a highly regarded Investment Services/Wealth Management Platform provider who are seeking a strategic and experienced Head of Risk & Compliance. The Role
As Head of Risk & Compliance, youโll report directly to the Chief Risk Officer and take ownership of the day-to-day risk, compliance and legal oversight across the firm. Youโll lead a capable team, embed frameworks and controls, and support regulatory relationships including oversight of CASS compliance and audit.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the Risk, Compliance, and Legal teams to manage risk frameworks, registers and controls
- Ensure regulatory compliance across all business activities, with specific oversight of CASS processes
- Maintain key relationships with the FCA and other regulatory bodies
- Own and support the delivery of CASS assurance and AAF 01/06 reporting
- Provide regulatory insight and advice to internal teams and client businesses
- Liaise with internal and external audit teams to support robust governance
- Support and evolve policies, procedures, and regulatory training
- Manage company secretarial responsibilities and inward/outward governance reporting
- Develop, motivate and lead a high-performing team
What Weโre Ideally Looking For
- Proven experience in a senior Compliance and/or Risk leadership role
- Strong understanding of UK regulatory requirements including FCA rules and reporting
- Hands-on experience managing CASS frameworks and leading CASS audits
- Background in Investment or Wealth Management sectors
- Strategic thinker with excellent influencing and communication skills
- Commercially aware with a pragmatic, solutions-driven approach
- Track record of developing high-performing teams and managing change
