Change Financial Services are partnering our client, based in Leeds to make a key hire to their Finance Change programme. Taking a lead within the treasury workstream, the client are looking to hire an individual with treasury SME knowledge, with a depth of experience in liquidity and treasury data, and applying this to a project. The role will be the link between technology and the business, interfacing with senior stakeholders to ensure success. Building on experience of treasury systems, processes and how it interacts with wider finance, key duties of the role will include;

  • Leading project activity across treasury, ensuring that SME’s are engaged and project plans developed with end users in mind
  • Demonstrate an understanding of treasury principals across liquidity reporting, asset encumbrance and other data, how it interacts with treasury systems
  • Developing relationships with a range of stakeholders in Finance, Risk and Technology to facilitate success
  • Lead on project planning, monitoring and reporting on milestones, through to UAT, reacting and documenting outcomes as required
  • Offer strategic insight and guidance to current and future changes which impact the department.
  • Demonstrate working in an agile working environment or similar, embracing project methodologies
  • Excellent communication and story telling skills to ensure successful delivery of outcomes

Treasury SME knowledge is essential for this role given the data and reporting outcomes required for the post. A particular focus around asset encumbrance will be made, as a result of deliverables, as well as a broader core skill set to draw from. Applicants will also be able to show experience in taking ownership and driving outcomes in a large scale, fast paced business which requires influencing a range of stakeholders and embrace the autonomy the role will give.

Salary: £60,000 - £80,000 – DOE + Package
