SQL Developer

Are you an experienced Microsoft SQL Developer ?

Do you have strong experience in SSRS and SSIS ?

Key responsibilities:

• Design & develop solutions that meet the needs of the business and are consistent with the overall Technology Strategy.
• Ensures adherence to standards through training and education.
• Be involved in the peer review process.
• Follows procedures to ensure successful implementation and promotion of code using source control.
• Participates in project work as required.
• Works with the Development Team Leader to plan / schedule work, regularly reporting progress and issues.
• Be involved in testing strategies
• Consider the full data lifecycle when delivering a solution.
• Work with the data team to ensure that data principles & data strategy are considered when analysing data.
• Ensure all supporting data models and supporting documentation is produced and maintained

Required skills:

• Strong experience querying Microsoft SQL Server.
• Experience is SSIS and SSRS
• SQL Scripting and performance tuning
• Ability to demonstrate good collaboration skills with other team members, particularly providing input and feedback on requirements and design.

Experience of Data Warehousing would be highly advantageous as would knowledge of PL/SQL
