Change are partnering with a leading Financial Services organisation in Edinburgh to recruit a senior manager to their controls and reporting team. Managing a team in the delivery of month end tasks as well as the ongoing strategic development and enhancement of reporting and controls, the client are looking to add an experienced people manager who is able to shape the future of the department. Key skills and duties of the role will cover;

  • Managing your managers to ensure effective delivery of a range of reporting and controls activities on a daily, monthly and quarterly basis

  • Responsible for the review and oversight of financial reporting changes, intrepreting these for the department and working wider with a range of colleagues

  • SME within the business area and working closely with wider senior management on the delivery and development of strategy

  • Lead on a range of transformation activity and ensuring a balanced approach to process improvement

  • Show an awareness of continuous staff development and fostering a culture across the department

The role will suit an individual who is keen to be part of a progressive organisation and really take a lead in shaping and developing, not only the outputs of the team, but how a control and reporting function partners wider finance and commercial business areas.

Applicants will be able to show and demonstrate past team management through managers and how they have shaped the insight and output in previous roles of their teams and departments. Past experience in Financial Services within Banking or Asset Management is preferred due to the outputs and stakeholders which you will engage with.

Salary: £70,000 - £85,000 DOE + Benefits and Bonus Potential
