Are you an experienced compliance professional passionate about protecting customers and driving regulatory excellence? We’re looking for a proactive Compliance Monitoring Manager to play a pivotal role in shaping our monitoring and assurance strategy.
About the Role
As a Compliance Monitoring Manager, you will lead the delivery of compliance monitoring reviews, ensuring the organisation adheres to regulatory standards and mitigates risks effectively. You’ll collaborate with senior stakeholders, provide insightful reporting, and support regulatory engagements to safeguard both the business and our customers.
Key Responsibilities
- Strategic Leadership: Drive the adoption of automated assurance tools (e.g., Tableau, PowerBI) to advance compliance monitoring.
- Review Management: Scope, execute, and report compliance reviews, ensuring timely and accurate delivery of key insights.
- Risk Focus: Identify and address significant regulatory and conduct risks, delivering pragmatic solutions.
- Collaboration: Foster strong relationships with stakeholders to promote a proactive risk culture and shared goals.
- Governance: Support the enhancement of the Annual Compliance Monitoring Plan and contribute to comprehensive compliance risk assessments.
- Mentorship: Lead and develop small review teams, ensuring alignment with organisational objectives.
What You’ll Bring
Essential:
- Proven experience in compliance assurance/testing, including automated and data-led methodologies.
- Leadership skills with a track record of managing review teams.
- Deep understanding of FCA regulations and the broader regulatory landscape.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Exceptional communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
Desirable:
- Programming knowledge (e.g., SQL, Python) and relevant qualifications (e.g., ICA Diploma).
