Commercial Manager

Commercial Manager - Edinburgh/Glasgow - Permanent 

We are working with a leading retail bank in Edinburgh to support with their recruitment efforts for a Commercial Manager. This role will manage commercial aspects of insurance products, services, and channel management and be the subject matter expect for product life cycle.

This Commercial Manager job will require you to be the subject matter expert and monitor aspects of a product life cycle, including long and short term performance and driving business cases to support new initiatives. You will strategically create innovative ways to increase usage and engagement of the product by utilizing data analytics highlighting customer usage, new customers, market insights, and delivering engaging campaigns to increase usage.

Responsibilities:

• P&L Management, footfall, pricing and revenue enhancement
• Delivering improvements in performance and driving the enhancement of customer experience journeys
• Support with budgeting, forecasting, spreadsheet model management and cost controls
• Business forecasting across all channels including budget setting, LTP and regular reforecasting
• Developing business cases to support new initiatives and customer propositions for your value stream
• Develop pricing strategies to improve conversion and loyalty, building appropriate pricing models
• Day to day setting of pricing/rates to deliver margin targets
• Using analytical and modelling tools to optimise income and determine the appropriate pricing strategy by channel / product/ geography

Requirements:

• Experience with P&L management, pricing and working within revenue enhancement
• Experience working within Financial Services
• Strong Excel skills
• Experience independently developing and delivering a program of activities designed to increase customer engagement
• Experience working with and strong knowledge of Insurance Product lines
• Comfortable leading projects and strong stakeholder management
