Job Title: Management Accountant
Location: East Kilbride
Salary: £50,000
Working hours: 4 days in office, Parking available onsite

Company Overview:
Change Accountancy is excited to partner with our client in East Kilbride to recruit a skilled and ambitious Management Accountant to join their growing team. This is an exclusive opportunity to take a lead role in the commercial review and financial analysis of key contracts, working across various business areas to monitor and report on spend.

As the business continues to expand and win new contracts, the Management Accountant will be responsible for ensuring strong financial controls and reporting frameworks are in place. The role will also provide the opportunity to work closely with the Managing Director and senior management, using commercial awareness to present financial risks and opportunities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the production of budgets and closely monitor forecasted spend across a range of projects.
  • Prepare and present monthly financial performance reports, highlighting any overspend or discrepancies.
  • Consolidate financial data to create a central forecasted view of performance, providing detailed commentary and analysis.
  • Review budgets and costings, offering insights on high-value and cost-sensitive information to support ongoing bid processes.
  • Manage monthly cash flow reporting for various projects.
  • Oversee month-end postings and adjustments to accurately reflect financial performance.

Key Requirements:

  • Proven experience in project or cost reporting with a strong background in financial analysis.
  • Ability to work with a range of stakeholders to identify key cost and revenue drivers.
  • Strong commercial awareness and the ability to present financial opportunities and risks to senior management.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to work closely with senior leadership.
  • A proactive, solution-oriented approach to problem-solving and process improvement.
