Analyst/Advisor (Glasgow)
Join a Leading Mid-Market Scottish Accountancy Firm
We are currently recruiting for an Audit Analyst/Advisor to join our clients growing team in Glasgow. This is an exciting opportunity for a driven and detail-oriented professional to contribute to the success of a leading mid-market accountancy firm, delivering high-quality audit and accounting services across a diverse client base.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist senior management in delivering audit and accounting services to a variety of clients.
- Take responsibility for the planning, implementation, and completion of audit engagements, ensuring compliance with audit standards.
- Supervise and support junior team members on client site visits, overseeing their work and handling complex audit file areas.
- Plan and complete audit assignments, ensuring all audits are thoroughly documented and all conclusions are well-supported.
- Prepare statutory financial statements from client data, ensuring accuracy and compliance with relevant reporting standards.
- Build and manage strong client relationships, acting as a trusted advisor and ensuring client satisfaction throughout the audit process.
Key Requirements:
- ACCA/ICAS newly qualified or part-qualified.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to effectively communicate with clients and colleagues.
- Exceptional attention to detail and organisational skills.
- Experience with Microsoft Office packages (Word, Excel, MS Outlook).
- Familiarity with accounting software such as Xero, Sage, or QuickBooks is desirable.
- Experience with CCH software is also desirable.
