Change Recruitment are delighted to be partnered with a highly reputable Public Practice in Glasgow. This business is seeking to recruit an immediately available temporary Accounts assistant to support them through a period of transition.
Hybrid working offered
Glasgow
£16 - £19 per hour
4 weeks+
Key Responsibilities
- Preparation of accounts for partnerships and sole traders
- Preparation of accounts for audit exempt companies
- Preparation of charity accounts
- Preparation of draft tax computations
- Preparation of management accounts, including reconciliation of key control accounts
- VAT return preparation
- Bookkeeping
- Any other appropriate tasks, as directed
Requirements
- Experience of working in a public practice and especially in preparation of accounts for audit exempt, sole traders and partnerships
- Competent in the use of accounts preparation software (experience of using CCH would be advantageous)
- Excellent day to day use of the Microsoft suite (eg, Outlook, Excel, Word, Powerpoint
