Senior Network & Infrastructure Engineer role

You will be based from their office in Glasgow city centre (hybrid)

Responsibilities include:

• Providing 3rd line technical support across the IT Infrastructure environment including cloud technologies.
• Ensuring that all incidents, problems, and requests are progressed and updated through to completion.
• Design, deploy, and maintain scalable and secure network infrastructure solutions.
• Configure and troubleshoot network devices including routers, switches, firewalls, and load balancers.
• Perform network capacity planning and optimization to support business growth and performance requirements.
• Implement and maintain network security measures to protect against unauthorized access, data breaches, and other security threats.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement network policies, procedures, and best practices.
• Monitor network performance and proactively identify and resolve issues to minimize downtime and ensure maximum availability.

Required experience:

• Cisco networking certification or equivalent experience, CCNA / CCNP
• Microsoft 365
• Experience with cloud networking technologies (e.g. Azure).
• Experience with software-defined networking (SDN) and network virtualization technologies.
• Experience with scripting and automation tools (e.g., Python, Ansible).
• Advanced knowledge of Fortinet products and solutions.
